According to the Shahr-e-Bourse, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the former CEO of Binance, has confirmed via a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the Trust Wallet platform has been compromised.
According to initial investigations, attackers released a malicious version of the Chrome browser extension, allowing them to access users’ “Seed Phrases” (recovery words). So far, over $7 million in digital assets have been stolen.
