According to Shahr-e Bourse, Dariush Joodaki, the Director General of Tehran’s Government Penalties Organization, announced on Monday (December 22, 2025) that the approved price for purchasing raw milk from livestock farmers has been set at 29,500 Tomans per kilogram. This decision obliges all livestock farmers and dairy factories to adhere strictly to this rate. Any sale above this approved price is considered a violation and will face legal consequences.
Strict Monitoring Measures: To ensure market stability, four key dairy products will be under “special supervision.” Furthermore, based on a joint resolution with the Ministry of Agriculture, a permanent inspector will be stationed at dairy factories to audit purchase and sales invoices in real-time.
