According to the shahrebours, the Cabinet of Ministers of the 14th government approved new indicators for the decile classification of subsidy recipients and the elimination of subsidies for people in the upper deciles. According to this executive regulation, if a household meets six specified conditions, it must wait for a change in its subsidy status.
If you meet these six conditions, wait for the subsidy to be eliminated:
- The new indicators that have been determined to identify and eliminate high-income individuals from the list of subsidy recipients are generally categorized into six sections:
- Total income of household members: This indicator includes the total income earned by all members of a household and determines whether their income level is higher than the threshold set for receiving subsidies.
- Monthly purchase transactions: The volume of bank card purchase transactions during a month is considered as a criterion for measuring the level of spending and welfare of households.
- Real estate: The value and number of properties registered in the names of household members is one of the factors determining an individual’s economic decile.
- Luxury cars: Owning expensive and luxury cars is considered one of the most important indicators of wealth and financial well-being in the new decile.
- Foreign trips: Information about foreign leisure trips taken by household members indicates higher financial strength and well-being than lower deciles.
- Residence abroad: Having official residence abroad is another indicator that could lead to a change in decile and the elimination of subsidies.
