The silver market of the Commodity Exchange had a busy day on December 10, recording more than 660 kilograms of trading in both certificate of deposit and futures contracts.

According to the Shahr-e-Bourse , the silver market of the Iranian Commodity Exchange performed actively in yesterday’s trading (December 10), and a total of 667 kilograms of silver bullion were traded in the form of certificates of deposit and futures contracts.

Silver Certificate of Deposit Trading

According to statistics, 436,103 silver certificates of deposit, equivalent to 436 kilograms of silver bullion, worth 100.3 billion tomans, were traded on this day. This sector continues to be the main pillar of silver trading on the commodity exchange.

Growth in futures trading volume

In the futures sector, 23,102 contracts were closed, equivalent to 231 kilograms of silver bullion, worth 82.4 billion Tomans.
At the end of the trading day, open positions in silver futures contracts reached 826 kilograms, representing an increase of 3,921 open positions in total silver-based contracts, indicating increased activity and the entry of new traders into the silver futures market.
